Georgia Bell is an Olympic bronze medallist, a European silver medallist, and the British record holder in the 1500m. A former child track star, she took an unprecedented five-year break from the sport before making a remarkable comeback just three years ago—an achievement unmatched in the sport's history. During her time away from competitive athletics, she worked in technology sales and gradually returned to fitness by running a community Park Run every Saturday morning. She is now advocating for women to remain in sport and campaigning to reduce the high dropout rate among teenage girls. Unusually for a runner, she does the majority of her training on a bike.
